About Dr. Thiru
Dr Thiru, as he is fondly known by his patients, has a passion for dermatology and a wealth of knowledge and skills in various aspects of skin care. He has a Master’s degree in Dermatology from the renowned St. John’s Institute of Dermatology in London, one of the world’s leading centres for patients with skin disease. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, a prestigious institution that promotes excellence in medical education and practice.
A History of Excellence Within the Industry
Dr Thiru has been working as a Locum Consultant Dermatologist in NHS Hospitals in Liverpool, North Wales and Manchester since 2012, providing both community and hospital dermatology services. He has expertise in diagnosing and treating various skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, skin infections, skin cancers, and more. He also has a keen interest in genitourinary medicine and sexual health, having obtained a Diploma in Dermatology and Diploma in Genitourinary Medicine.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Thiru also has an aesthetic practice since 2015, offering a range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments to enhance your natural beauty and boost your confidence. He has obtained a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, an internationally recognized organization that provides training and certification for physicians in aesthetic medicine. He is proficient in performing procedures such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels, microneedling, PRP therapy, and more.
